German Invoice Requirements (Section 14 UStG)
German VAT law specifies exactly what must appear on a Rechnung. Missing any mandatory element makes the invoice legally invalid and the buyer cannot claim Vorsteuer.
What to Include
- Full name and address of supplier
- Full name and address of recipient
- Steuernummer or USt-IdNr
